Campus Campaigns

Once you have selected a theme, think about your student body - is it school students (which grades?), universuty undergraduate or postgraduate students you are targeting?

For the student population you target, design a campaign activity that is suitable to their age group/ level /background knowledge. This activity could be in any form or using any media for instance:

  • poster making

  • badge design

  • story telling

  • speech

  • debate

among others. Remember: the activity should take the form of both increasng awareness of the theme and work to identify potential student panelists for the next stage

Students must be given ample amount of time - so that they know such an event will take place, can be prepared, conduct their research and participate.

During the actual activity, ensure students get a fair and transparent chance at participating and may be even winning to become a panel speaker.

Don't forget to inform participants that they will be photographer and videographed for the purpose of this program.
